What Do They See?

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.  Philippians 4:9

Here the apostle Paul tells the church in Philippi that if they would just act like him, and do those things which they had seen him do, that God would be with them and would bless them.

In looking at your life, I wonder—could you safely give the same instruction to others?  Can you say without the slightest bit of trepidation “Act like me, and God will bless you?”

Whether you realize it or not, people are always watching you.  What kind of person do they see?  Do they see a man or woman of integrity?  Do they see a man or woman who is totally committed to Christ?  What do they see?

Think about that today, and ask the LORD to help you to be the kind of person that can say with the apostle Paul “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”  1 Corinthians 11:1
